We have many meltdowns in our home. With two ASD kids, they average 45 minutes x2. It’s crazy, annoying, stressful, confusing, depressing, frustrating… for them. All I want to do is hug them. But I can’t. I can’t only wait patiently while they figure it out and time passes. Then I tell them I love them.
