That’s what came across my Facebook news feed today.  It caught my attention because the focus was on what people with ASD have, rather than what they lack.  Instead of saying they lack empathy, the ability to relate to others, the need to make a social connection, they may have too much of all of those things.  So much that it spills over, making it hard to focus, think clearly, and they find a way to disconnect.  I always find it interesting to read things that make me see autism in a different way, and wanted to pass it on.  What are your thoughts?  Have you seen anything from those in your life on the spectrum that indicates they in fact may have too much empathy rather than none at all?  As always, we love to hear your thoughts.
